Aggravated Assault With Serious Injury – Found Not Guilty

Our client was charged with Aggravated Assault with Serious Bodily Injury in Tarrant County, Texas. He was involved in an altercation at a bar where the other party suffered a broken leg and alleged permanent disability from the injury. The Sansom Park Police Department made the determination that the client was the primary aggressor and arrested him on the scene. At trial, we were able to prove that our client actually had the right to defend himself even if he ultimately won the fight. He was found Not Guilty by the jury in less than an hour.
