Our client was arrested for felony assault family violence-choking by the Dallas police department. Fort Worth Police Department sent two cars to detain our client.She was listed as having blood shot eyes, had swayed balance and slurred speech. Road side field sobriety tests were conducted and our client was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She later consented to a blood test, which was alleged to show a score of .217. Client was stopped by Keller Police Department for running a red light. Client had 3 open containers in the car. She later failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated. Client then was interviewed and admitted to being intoxicated. Our client was charged with Aggravated Assault with Serious Bodily Injury in Tarrant County, Texas. He was involved in an altercation at a bar where the other party suffered a broken leg and alleged permanent disability from the injury. The Sansom Park Police Department made the determination that the client was the primary aggressor and arrested him on the scene. Our client was filmed weaving for over four minutes before being pulled over by the Hurst Police Department. The Hurst Police Officers detected alcohol odor and claimed that during the field sobriety tests, our client’s speech was slurred and his balance and walk were swayed. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and the officers secured a search warrant and later alleged the client’s blood alcohol level score was a .21. After vigorously contesting the accuracy of the blood test results during a two-day trial in Tarrant County, Texas, our client was found Not Guilty by the Jury.

Our client was asleep in his car on the side of the highway when Mansfield Police Officers did a welfare check and ended up detaining him. He later failed all roadside field sobriety tests and the officers determined he was highly intoxicated and arrested him for suspicion of DWI. Multiple 911 calls were made because of our client’s driving. According to the testimony, she hit the curb twice, drove into oncoming traffic, and drove through an electrical pole and a mailbox.
