The local team is the Arizona Bobcats. They host USA hockey state and national tournaments. Or you can get together with a group of friends and rent a time to play hockey for fun. If hockey is too much, they allow you to play broomball.
On the other hand, figure skating classes are held here, as well. Learn how to ice dance or speed skate. They have classes for beginners and skill assessments for experienced adults. The site is also a popular site for birthday events. The guest of honor can even go on a Zamboni ride. The price goes up with the number of attendees. You could book skating lessons with a coach to go on during the birthday party, but that is at an additional cost. Skating coaches have to be booked at least two weeks in advance of the party.

That is an east-west street that connects to North 56 Street. You can reach the Ice Den by exiting Maricopa Freeway at West Ray Road, heading east, and then taking North 56 Street south to Harrison. You could also turn right on North 54 and take that south to Harrison. There’s a lot of free parking to the north and south of the Ice Den. You can access the parking lot from both West Harrison and North 54. If you take North 54 or North 56 Street South, you’ll eventually hit West Chandler Boulevard. That connects to Highway 10, the Maricopa Freeway.
